Alice Gainer, a CBS 2 anchor and reporter since 2013, has been covering current news events, features and general assignment. The anchor has co-anchored The News at Nine with Dick Brennan at WLNY, the sister station of TV10/55 from 2013. In a tweet she posted on 17 July, 2018 she shared that her husband John was engaged. Since then, they have been awaiting the day they got married to begin the next chapter in their lives. Alice posted on an Instagram post that they were engaged in Italy following a short period of several months. Alice stated in her post on the 27th of June of this year that their wedding was only one month further away. In their journey, the couple spent time together with each together and counted down the time to the ceremony.
